If I may be so bold to start this thread....... We just got back........ had a blast!!!

I took only one photo @ the show(see below)... you guys don't know my relatively crappy photog skills... I figure that there were many photos taken by others... they will get air time, and they will be cross posted by SOMEBODY....

The caravan left the mile post 11 rest stop @ 7am, and we managed to make it to Griot's Garage by 8:50 am (122 miles).... now add in a 7 min stop to fuel up a thirsty rhd GT-Four clone (Celica All-Trac) about 1/2 way there. I didn't fill up, I had filled up prior to the trip.

The show was a total gass (sorry, old fart term for a really good time! ) We saw many great cars... and quite a few people. A note.... some of you I recognized, some I didn't... some of those I didn't... I should have, my apologies... in one case (Rick) I've never seen him out of his Toyota grey shop shirt before, and he actually was smiling! There were a few others.... PLEASE don't feel jilted.... my A.D.D. makes some parts of my memory really shitty*

Back to the show.... many great cars..... MANY, in fact this may have been the best represented show I've been too... guessing... about 130 cars in the show, and many more parked just outside the area. Models from a mid 70s Carina (1st EVER @ a PSTOC show) to FJ (new ones) and one very nice old FJ40, powered by an LS1
Supras.... many - I've never seen so many nice Supras - 2 standouts... the red Mk3 with custom metal widebody (forgotten owners name), and Mark's (Vancouver Toyota's parts manager) immaculate 495hp* 2JZ powered MkII - another nice MkII was an "L" model (no flares, riding on ORIGINAL pizza cutters)

* - I can remember Mark telling me about the managment programming, but not many of your names - example of how my brain works :cursing:

Ok, again... back to the show. Towat168 - Jack's old Levin was there, and a few other very nice 86s too. Joanne's AE86 would have looked like a rock crawler (ride height) compared to many of them :D There was one very nice Starlet in white, while a bit later a 2nd one arrived painted black, and wrapped in a TRD body kit (most of one anyway). A friend of Jack had 2 cars there.... the white Starlet, AND a medium blue AE86 hatch. BOTH s t r e t c h e d to the max

Not only were there many FJs and Supras, but there had to be 20+ MR models - AW, SW, and ZZW were all there. Afew V6 SW machines were there, and a very nice S/C AW too

The line up of Top Gear wanna be trucks was also there... with the end trucks each doing a tire climb of the truck next to it - photos will surface I promise. The one standout in my memory from this group was a mid 80s 4x4 Van... in combat mode lifted, so high it made some of the pickups envious.

One very badass Camry.... an All-Trac Camry... a full 3SGTE powered All-Trac Camry... a 3SGTE powered Camry in dark blue running some very nice wheels and tires... with a factory Camry spoiler

One VERY hot "F"en Camry

And through all that... all those cars........ Surreptitious managed to garner the Best In Show award

Great show! How many cars total? (what was last year's total?)

So cool to have live music, and such a great turnout of a variety of cars!

Thanks for all your hard work!

Had a blast, can't wait for next year! (Let's add Best Interior to the list, yeah? :P)

(and apologies to anyone I may have accidentially mooned. Got a giant tattoo on my leg yesterday and still have to keep it uncovered)

Had a great time yesterday.
I have posted the same contents below on a few forums I am a member of, so I will post it here too.
Will include a picture too that a member from fjcruiserforums.com took of my tent raised up, as I neglected to snag a pic of it after the tent was opened up.
_____________
I have a few videos too, but I have not viewed them yet.

All the pictures below and the videos were taken on my GoPro HD camera.
Having the LCD screen option on the camera is very nice.
I brought along my nice Sony digital camera too, but I enjoyed using the GoPro one more.

I did not touch up the photos at all from the camera excpet to down size them to 1200x900, so they may be a little dark.

Quite a few people there that I see on yotatech.com and fjcruiserforums.com, but I can not remember the name of everyone.

The event started out a little cloudy, then the sun came out and it was pretty warm, around 70°.

Image

vital22RE (Vitaly's) rig below with a 3.4 engine with the TRD supercharger.

Image

Image

Image

Tofer (Chris's) 2nd gen 4Runner with a 3.4 in it, and 01rnrgirl (Lisa's) 3rd gen 4Runner.

Image

Image

The rig below won best mud award.

Image

PSTOC.org (Mike's) pickup below.

Image

Image

Elton's Tundra below, he also won longest distance driven to the event.

Image

Image

Sweet FJ40 below with a Chev V8 in it.
He took a few awards.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

The four FJ Cruisers that showed up at the event.
The one parked next to mine had some very bright LED lights on the rack.
They were blinding even with my Oakley Flak Jackets on.
The black one had custom tube doors on it, and he took Griot's best of class award.
The Green one took took an award.
My silver FJ Cruiser took Toyota Of Kirkland's Choice award for "best overlanding/camping/4wheeler" and clean as in "just washed look" award.
Vitaly talked me into opening up my tent too which I am sure helped me get the award.
Vitaly and another guy helped me put it down too, save a lot of time from me doing it myself.

I did not snag any pics of my rig though when the tent was deployed open, simply to much going on there.

Image

Image

I printed out some details on my rig the night before, and I taped them to the windows.

Image

Image

Lots of nice Toyota and Scion cars there too that had tubochargers on them.

Image

Image

A few Toyotas were mating with each other, spotted two sets of them.

Image

CodyX36 (Cody and his girlfriend) 4Runner.

Image

Below is a 4WD Toyota van, and he took an award for it.
He is not on any forum I do not think, but he knows of some.
I pointed him to expeditionportal to check into 4WD van stuff, as he is very interested in getting into overlanding/camping with the rig.
He also has a 1st gen 4Runner.

Image

Image

Below was an FJ40 in the showroom behind where we turned in our toys we brought since this raises money for Toys For Tots.

Image

A few other nice cars that were in Griot's showroom.

Image

Image

Image

A nice BMW bike right by the bathrooms.
I have to say too that I was very impressed with the clean and nice looking facilities that Griot's supplied us with.

Image

When he fired up this car the sound was enough to scare a zombie.

Image

Image

Image

Tons of Scion toasters were there.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

A military transport four engined airplane flew over us probably heading to McChord Air Force base.

Image

Below is me holding the award I won.
Thanks Vitaly for taking the pciture.

Image

Below is Vitaly holding his award by his rig.

Image

Image

There was a ton more of nice Toyota 4WD rigs, Scions, Toyota cars, but I did not get pictures.
This was a very HUGE event.

I intend on making it to it next year, as this was my first time there, and I had a great time.

Lisa whipped out a blackberry/blueberry homemade pie she baked that was very good!

Would love it if you guys could head over to our facebook page facebook.com/pstoc and upload a bunch of these pictures there too. Not jus share links but actually upload so that we can have a big gallery there.

Was an awesome event, and I hope we keep seeing the regulars, and picked up some newbies too.

So this show almost killed me, and those at OCB afterwards can attest to that lol. I love you guys, I love this show but I can hosestly say I'm thrilled I don't have to think about this for another 8 months lol. Big thanks to all our sponsors and the bands, the Cutwinkles and CCC (which can be seen playing at Dorky's free shows. Check their facebook often :) ) We'll see you all at our next event which should be in November for a food drive to help the needy during thanksgiving.

Hey guys had a great time! Awesome show, it has come so far since the last one I went to. The music, the venue, the people, and the cars were great!

Thanks for letting all our boxes invade :)

And me, I love the ribbons! I have trophies, plaques, a big belt, a bottle of wine, and now a ribbon! Thought it was a great idea especially with the trd colors.

Fricking sweet!

Josh

Dustin gets credit for the ribbon idea but I claim the colors :)

Thanks to the organizers for putting on such a great event, again this year. I'd didn't know how you would top last year's but you did. Such a huge growth since the little BBQ in the park. Her'es to many more. Thanks again.

Andy of Warn bumpers mentioned over on expeditionportal.com (we were talking about the 4WD van over there after I posted a pic of it in another thread) that the Oregon Facebook page had some pics up.
Found them.
